Head of Human Resources Nigeria and West Africa, Standard Chartered

Florence is an accomplished HR Professional with over 20 years experience in HR practice with leading entities in the East Africa and West Africa. She joined the Bank in 2014, from KPMG, where she headed the Human Resources and Administrative function for 6 countries in the East Africa region.  Prior to that, she worked for NIC Bank for 9 years.

At Standard Chartered, she has led several Projects, among them the Africa Middle East Talent Accelerator Program, aimed at fast-tracking the development of key talent to provide a rich leadership pipeline in the AME Region.

Florence has been recognised for her contribution to HR. She was the recipient of the Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for her contribution to realigning the People Agenda at KPMG. Also, in 2012, she was selected under the Top 40 Under 40 Women Professionals in Kenya.
