Saif joined Standard Charted Bank (“SCB”) in 2006 as Executive Director, Client Relationships & Co-Head Wholesale Banking, Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania Limited. Prior to his African regional roles (based in Johannesburg) he held the position of Managing Direction, Head of Corporate & Institutional Clients of SCB Malaysia for 5 years as well as Managing Director, Head of Origination & Client Coverage and Co-
Head of Wholesale Banking with SCB Nigeria. Before joining Standard Chartered, Saif worked with various multinational organizations such as Barclays Bank Tanzania, Barclays Bank Zambia as well as the Central Bank of Zambia.
Saif possesses a wealth Banking and Finance experience in the areas of economics, risk assessment, marketing, corporate credit and business development. Saif holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and a Master of Arts (MA) in International Business (Honours), both from the University of Kentucky, USA.
